Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

The Perdaman Project involves large-scale industrial activities, requiring efficient logistics and supply chain management to ensure timely delivery and availability of resources. The Warehouse Administrator plays a key role in supporting the overall project by maintaining a seamless flow of materials and equipment.

This is a FIFO position based in Karratha on a 20/8 roster, flying from Perth or other capital cities. However, individuals living local to the region are encouraged to apply

A Warehouse Administrator position for the Perdaman Project would likely focus on managing the warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and facilitating the smooth distribution of materials and equipment. Here’s a general outline of what such a position might entail:

Your focus will include:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or warehouse management software.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies to avoid shortages.
  • Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for timely delivery and dispatch.
  • Maintain and update records of shipments, deliveries, and transfers.
  • Generate and file relevant documents, such as delivery notes, invoices, and receipts.
  • Ensure the warehouse is compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure proper use of PPE.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to management.
  • Liaise with project managers, procurement, and site teams to fulfill material requests.
  • Maintain clear communication with vendors and suppliers for order tracking and updates.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of warehouse layout to optimize space.
  • Supervise the loading and unloading of materials to ensure efficient processes.
  • Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts (if licensed), as needed.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling and team coordination.
     

What you will bring to the team:

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse management or administrative roles, ideally in industrial or project-based environments (construction, resources, etc.).
  • Must be willing to work in a remote location with potential FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) or DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out) arrangements
  • Working hours may vary depending on project needs.
  • Adherence to strict safety protocols and regulations in warehouse environments.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel for inventory tracking.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
     

Certifications (desirable but not essential):

  • Forklift operator’s license.
  • First Aid / CPR certification.
  • Certificate in Warehouse Operations or Logistics.
