Position Overview:
We are currently seeking two skilled Spray Painter Detailers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint and finishes to products and surfaces with precision and attention to detail. Your expertise in spray painting techniques and dedication to quality will contribute to the overall excellence of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Mix paint and finishes according to specifications, ensuring color accuracy and consistency.
- Apply paint and finishes using spray guns, brushes, or other methods, achieving desired coverage and finish.
- Monitor drying times and make adjustments as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections, making touch-ups and corrections as needed.
- Perform detailing work, such as pinstriping, lettering, or custom designs, to enhance finished products.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Skill Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Spray Painter Detailer or similar role in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Proficiency in spray painting techniques and use of painting equipment.
- Knowledge of paint mixing, colour matching, and finishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
