Beyond20 is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our growing training and consulting firm. This position will report to our ServiceNow Practice Lead but will work with a significant degree of autonomy, exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.


The qualified candidate will have at least three years experience configuring and deploying one or more modules in ServiceNow, along with a strong understanding of relational database architecture and design. Candidates must also have experience working with and implementing ITIL based processes.  Candidates must be certified as implementers in both the ITBM and ITSM product lines.


The ServiceNow Developer will interface with customers and other members of the Beyond20 team to transform customer requirements into fully functional solutions based on the ServiceNow platform. This includes building dashboards, customized workflows for processes and procedures, customizing user interfaces, and interfacing with existing customer data sources and tools. 


Job Responsibilities:


  • Configuration/Customization of the ServiceNow system, including creating workflows
  • Build service requests from customer requirements including requests, request items and tasks using workflows - to manage data flows from the customer to the support teams providing the service
  • Use scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to create script that automates rote tasks being done in ServiceNow.
  • Perform integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration.
  • Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • Have a thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM concepts and processes
  • Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of the application.
  • Hands-on design, development, and deployment within the ITSM and ITBM product lines on the ServiceNow platform.
  • ServiceNow implementation with ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, and Asset).


Required Experience and Skills:


  • Experience in CMDB, Discovery, and integration with other external modules.
  • Current developer certifications in ServiceNow ITBM product line.
  • Hands on experience in Glide and Java Script, HTML, XML, AJAX.
  • Experience building integrations with 3rd party tools using (web services, SOAP, email, MID, etc.)
  • ServiceNow administration experience.
  • At least 3 years of ServiceNow experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing using JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience working with relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with web UI development technologies that include HTML, CSS, and AJAX.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following: HTML/CSS, AJAX, Jelly, JSON, AngularJS.
