Description

Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol refinery for 10+ years, delivering leading maintenance services to their Lytton site.

With an expanding team and project(s) forecast in 2025, we are currently seeking applications for Senior Area Schedulers to join our team at the Lytton Refinery, Brisbane – on a permanent basis.

This role involves collaborating with the teams to minimize downtime, improve safety, and enhance productivity – providing technical support for process standardisation & implementation.



Responsibilities
  • Responsible for scheduling and coordinating maintenance planning activities to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency,
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive integrated maintenance schedule,
  • Produce maintenance schedules in line with work management principles, procedures and site-specific guidelines. 
  • Work closely with Planning leads to develop, maintain and enhance business processes within the maintenance function, 
  • Utilize the CMMS (SAP) to analyse equipment performance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to maintenance processes,
  • Initiate and present regular reports on planning performance, compliance, and resource utilization,
  • Chair schedule meetings with key stakeholders.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, maintenance management, or a previous trade certification qualification (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation),
  • Minimu006D0070038 of 5+ years in maintenance scheduling or planning, preferably in the oil and gas industry or heavy industrial environment,
  • Experience with SAP, P6, Prometheus or alternative scheduling software, 
  • Strong leadership & communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities,
  • Proven ability to lead a high performing team as well as being a high-level performer,
  • Strong business & scheduling process knowledge within a maintenance environment.
