Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roof Plumber to join our team in both Townsville and South East Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs, gutters, and downpipes in both a Domestic and Commercial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs, gutters, and downpipes
- Inspect roofs for damage and leaks
- Determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements
- Measure and cut materials to fit specific requirements
- Install and repair flashing and other roof components
- Work with a variety of materials, including metal, tile, and shingles
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets safety regulations
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on progress and answer any questions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Roof Plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Commercial experience preferable
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
