Riggers, Trade assistants & Cleaners | Mackay Based Project

KSG have secured a number of back-to-back projects to finish out 2024 and as a result we have multiple casual positions available for Riggers, Trade Assistants & Cleaners to work within our Mackay facilities to successfully deliver a roof support overhaul at our yard in Connors Road.

Project Specifics

• Commencing 14th November for a period of 30 days.
• Mackay Based
• Day & Night Shift Options
• 6 Day On / 1 Day Off Roster (6/1)
• 12 Hour Shifts (Excluding training days)
• Roof Support Overhauls - Full training provided
• Meals on shift provided
• Project incentives in place
• Accommodation options available for those residing outside of Mackay region.

Positions Available:

• Riggers - Assisting the 180T Crane Driver in safely moving gear around and assisting tradesman as TA's when required
• Trade Assistants - Working alongside Skilled Boilermakers & Fitters
• Cleaners - Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of crib rooms, office spaces & Toilet/shower facilities throughout the project.

We are seeking applicants who maintain a high level of safety whilst also having the following attributes:

• Previous experience in a similar role (Desirable)
• High level of quality & standards
• A positive attitude
• Effective communication & interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail & quality workmanship
• The ability to work to and follow a high level of safety standards
• Able to work 12hr shifts on 6/1 roster
• High level of physical fitness due to the nature of the works

Qualifications/Experience

• High Risk Work Licence – Forklift – Desirable
• High Risk Work Licence - Rigging - Essential for Riggers
• Previous experience in a similar industry - Highly Desirable.
