Operations Scheduler - VIC

As the Operations Scheduler you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients' belongings are packed, transported, and stored with the utmost care and professionalism. You'll work closely with our team of skilled movers, coordinating schedules, overseeing quality control, and ensuring that every move goes smoothly.
The role -
Scheduling and Coordination:
- Efficiently schedule removal and storage services, considering the availability of resources, manpower, and equipment.
- Coordinate with drivers, movers, and other team members to ensure timely execution of scheduled services.
- Respond promptly to scheduling changes or emergencies to minimise disruptions and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Optimise the allocation of resources, including vehicles, equipment, and personnel, to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of available resources and their capabilities to make informed scheduling decisions.
Customer Interaction:
- Communicate with customers to confirm scheduling details, address inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Keep customers informed about any changes to the schedule and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the removal and storage process.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of schedules, service details, and customer interactions.
- Generate reports to analyse operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in scheduling or operations coordination, preferably within the removals and storage industry.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and tools (CRITTAH)
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
