The Team – Infinity Capital Solutions

Infinity Capital Solutions (ICS) is the solutions arm of VFGL and is committed to designing, building, and delivering institutional-grade investment solutions and digital tools that help our clients achieve their desired outcomes. It is made up of Infinity Portfolio Management (IPM), Infinity Asset Management (IAM) and Infinity Digital.

IPM offers a bespoke investment management service to wholesale clients only, typically HNW/UHNW families and for-purpose entities.

IAM is an award-winning specialist investment manager offering a diverse range of managed account and unit trust solutions. IAM has over 100+ years of combined experience and manages over $3.5bn of funds. It is also responsible for providing market research, insights and asset allocation.

Infinity Digital is the fintech offering of Infinity Capital Solutions. Infinity Digital’s mantra is blending digital tools with human connection. It does this via innovative solutions that assist and drive better engagement between advisers, clients and their business.

About the Role

The role’s key responsibility is to oversee and maintain the day-to-day operations of our business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the establishment and improvement of operational processes, including optimising existing operational efficiencies.
  • Generate and manage operational performance reports.
  • Oversee the implementation and upgrades of operational systems.
  • Coordinate and manage platform defects until completion.
  • Ensure data accuracy in reports and tax packs.
  • Manage client share registries team.
  • Manage queries from other business units within Viridian around reporting.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are kept up to date and in line with best practice.
  • Assist the team with ISO reporting requirements.
  • Manage the relationship with external third party providers, such as platforms, trading and cash solution providers. Including team and client access, authorisation, and suitability.
  • Build relationships with internal teams such as advisers, client service managers, compliance and IT teams.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated success in business improvement and innovation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving and leading operational change within business units.
  • A bachelor’s degree qualification, ideally within Commerce or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within financial services, particularly wealth management.
  • Experience in front, middle and back-office roles.
  • High level of competence in large data sets with accuracy in Excel.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Sound knowledge of finance and well-abled to manage business’ financial budgets.
  • Excellent communication skills for directing, leading, and guiding subordinate staff.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Clear vision and direction for the business area, with a goal-driven and determined mindset.
