Vivid Property Services is the commercial cleaning specialist that Australian facility managers and procurement managers trust to meet their cleanliness and hygiene standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a current Operations Manager to join a growing and innovative company, to expand and further develop their career.
As the Operations Manager for this region you will be responsible for managing the growth and maintenance of this already established business.
This opportunity is suitable for an energetic, highly focused professional with a “can-do” attitude, customer service focus and a high level of initiative.
Key responsibilities
- You will work predominately on one our small corporate contracts in Queensland.
- Servicing existing clients whilst exploring business development opportunities
- Maintaining a network of employees, suppliers and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery
- Managing and resolving work orders, requests and operational issues
- Monitoring and reporting on service and compliance status and issues
- Coordinating the implementation of business strategies and system improvements for the area
- Training, mentoring and supervising cleaning staff across the region
- This is a role that will require work outside normal day to day operations
- Operational knowledge is essential
Essential Skills
- Previous experience working across Government contracts would be highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills and a dynamic personality, easily adapting to change
- Exceptional organisational, multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritise work to ensure our contract commitments, compliance, and revenue targets are achieved
- Understanding of workplace health and safety and ability to promote a safety culture across the region
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- People management or supervisory experience
- Due to site access requirements this role is only open to Australian Citizens.
