Our client is a global leader in developing state-of-the-art leisure products with a reputation for providing products and services that excite the market. Delivering products across Australia to a well-established dealer network, this National Warehouse Operations Manager position has the Supply Chain and P&L responsibilities that will allow you to make a real impact on company performance. 

As the National Warehouse Operations Manager, you will: 

  • Develop and execute Supply Chain and Logistic and Operations strategies that align with company objectives
  • Utilise warehouse data to identify trends and manage productivity levels across multiple sites 
  • Identify and introduce ‘Best Practice’ warehouse and site management systems that optimise stock movement, warehouse layout, receiving and dispatch, shipping, storage, and equipment utilisation
  • Manage P&L, forecasts, budgets, and CAPEX and OPEX 
  • Review and enhance warehouse design by planning layout, product flow and product handling systems
  • Mentor and develop Warehouse Managers, Teams Leaders, and warehousing staff
  • Analyse, produce and present monthly reports to senior management 
  • Work with IT department to enhance warehouse management system (WMS) 
  • Drive cost efficiencies and improvement with vendors and suppliers
  • Create a continuous improvement environment and manage WH&S 


Requirements

  • Exceptional people leadership and warehouse management skills
  • Strong decision-making capability with the ability to manage operating costs in a complex warehousing environment
  • Ability to present business cases and solutions to senior executives 
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills 
  • Proven experience introducing and delivering new systems and procedures that promote continuous improvement
  • Professional qualifications in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Warehouse Management with 5S or Six Sigma will be highly regarded
