About the Opportunity

Our ISO accredited machine shop based in Newcastle specialises in the design, manufacture and repair of hydraulic cylinders and manifolds suitable for a wide range of applications. We are currently looking for a Manual Machinist to grow the team.

Your tasks

• Operating modern manual lathes.
• Ability to achieve tight tolerances
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Attend toolbox talks
• Perform work safely and comply with WHS procedures.

About You

• Relevant Trade Qualifications
• Previous experience in manual and production machining and in machining large items
• Proficient in external and internal thread cutting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills who takes pride in training others
• Ability to work well within a team, autonomously and unsupervised.
