About the Role
Our Bentley site located in Perth manufactures and distributes a range of milk and milk-based products, made with fresh milk sourced directly from over 30 farms in the Albany, Harvey, and Northcliffe regions of south-western WA. The team at Bentley is a multicultural and diverse bunch, spanning 20 countries from around the world! The site currently manufactures more than 70 million litres a year including the state's number one flavoured milk product - Masters!
We have an exciting opportunity for a new Blowmould Operator to join the team! This role requires blow moulding machine operation and to monitor the quality and output of bottles for supply and packaging in accordance with approved procedures, quality standards, and customer specifications. This is a hands-on role with no experience in FMCG or Food manufacturing required.
Please note, this role works on a 3-week rotating roster covering day and afternoon shifts. Candidates must be available to work on their rostered shift between 5:30am and midnight 6 days a week, this includes weekends and public holidays.
Responsibilities
Safe setup and operation of all blow moulding machines to produce best quality bottles
Report all safety, quality and environmental incidents and issues
Accurate completion and recording of all quality, testing, and production related documentation
Work effectively and efficiently to reduce downtime
Training staff and assisting with assessment as required
Collaboration with Cross Functional teams
About you
Experience in a mechanical/fitter/hands on type role
Previous experience in Blowmould manufacturing preferred.
Forklift Licence
Strong problem-solving skills & Basic computer literacy skills
Comfortable using technology for production, safety, quality, and reporting
Good communication skills and ability to work and collaborate in a team
