Tools Warehouse are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Controller to manage and oversee inventory levels across our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, minimising stockouts, and improving supply chain operations. You

will drive process improvements and collaborate with the leadership team to strategically ensure the seamless flow of inventory from suppliers to our stores.

What will you be doing?

Based at our Wetherill Park Head Office, the key responsibilities of this Full Time position include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive inventory management strategies that support our business goals, including accurate inventory counts and minimising waste
  • Monitor & analyse inventory performance and make recommendations for replenishment or reduction of inventory as needed
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all inventory transactions are properly recorded
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies
  • Collaborate with finance, procurement and sales teams to ensure that inventory levels align with sale events and customer demand
  • Analyse inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements
  • Work closely with suppliers to optimize order fulfilment processes, reduce lead times and implement contingency plans for unexpected supply chain disruptions
  • Train staff to ensure supply chain processes are managed & maintained effectively

Does this sound like you?

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualities:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control or related field
  • Experience within the industry ideal but not necessary
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Full Australian Working Rights
