Employing over 140 staff in Oceana, they have offices in each major capital city and operate two optical fibre manufacturing facilities.
The HR manager is looking for a right-hand person, who is happy to take on HR responsibilities in an autonomous role, with a rare opportunity to be mentored to develop into a more senior role.
As the HR Coordinator, you will:
- Support the Human Resource manager with all matters related to HR administration, recruitment and selection, talent development, employee onboarding, employee relations, Industrial Relations, workers compensation and Work Health & Safety
- Coordinate and participate in employee induction and performance reviews
- Ensure all employee files are updated and maintained
- Coordinate internal and external recruitment requirements
- Compile HR reports for senior managers
- Assist and provide coverage for end of month payroll functions

Assist with the administration of workers' compensation claims, track expenditures and claims threshold
Requirements
To be considered for the position, you will have:
- Experience working in a HR administration role with some recruitment and payroll knowledge
- Knowledge of latest HR practices and Fair Work legislation
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Hight attention to detail with an ability compile reports
