Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment in guest rooms and public areas of the camp site. They must ensure that all areas are sanitized and in peak condition, identify and report maintenance issues, and respond to guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest standard possible
- Organize guest room supplies and replace old or used stock as necessary
- Identify and report maintenance issues in guest rooms and common areas
- Follow special cleaning instructions provided by guests
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment and inform supervisor of shortages
- Stocking housekeeping carts with adequate supplies
- Provide timely and efficient room turnaround for arriving guests
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping
Qualifications:
- One year of relevant experience in cleaning and maintaining camp site rooms preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills with guests, employees, and management staff
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 12kg and follow safety guidelines while performing duties.
