Fitter Machinist

About the Opportunity

Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist to join our high performing team in Kings Park NSW 2148.

Your task's

• Trade certificate and prior experience reconditioning hydraulic piston rods or shafts (preferred)
• Operating cylindrical grinding machines and lathes
• Using measuring devices to record pre and post grinding measurements
• Working with hand tools
• Making jigs
• Maintaining plating process plant and equipment

About You

• Relevant Mechanical Trade (essential)
• Solid understanding of hydraulic cylinder clearances and tolerances (Desirable)
• Understanding of the re-manufacture process including fitting, machining, and welding
