Job Summary:
As a Foreman, you will supervise, coordinate daily activities, and work along with the construction crews for various fence and structure projects. Your role includes overseeing site operations, enforcing safety and quality standards, and maintaining effective communication with team members and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Supervision: Oversee fence and structure installations, ensuring projects meet specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor installation teams, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and resolving on-site issues.
- Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Materials and Equipment: Manage material and equipment delivery, usage, and maintenance.
- Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure it meets company and client standards. Address defects or issues promptly.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, addressing questions, concerns, and feedback professionally.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of daily activities, progress, and any incidents. Complete necessary reports and paperwork.
- Problem Solving: Quickly resolve on-site issues to minimize delays and maintain client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years in fence and structure installation, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and equipment for fence and structure installation.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Β
- Certification: Valid driverβs license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation Physical Exam. Relevant safety and management certifications are a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift heavy materials, and perform manual labor.
