Porter Plant, a market leader and recognised name in equipment maintenance management and dry hiring of plant, equipment and light commercial vehicles, currently have a vacancy for a qualified and experienced Fabricator in our NEW ENGINEERING FACILITY.
Working in our new purpose built facility, you will apply your trade completing all work as instructed and in accordance with quality, safety and compliance standards.
The successful candidate will;
- Have completed a Certificate in Engineering Fabrication or relevant experience in the Truck Body Building industry
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Have advanced welding experience including grinding, cutting, pressing …
- Demonstrated experience in reading/interpreting drawings
- Ability to follow directions and work according to internal processes and procedures
- Must be able to complete work in a safe and timely manner
- Interpret plans to ensure work is compliant and correct.
- Be a team player and have respect for workshop and others
