POSITION SUMMARY:

A skilled supervisor who is responsible to work side by side with the crew that he is leading.  He responsible for monitoring the work of his crew to ensure that all tasks are carried out according to plan.  He is responsible for the performance and quality of the project.  This person needs to be skilled and experienced to lead a project. and able to earn the respect of the crew he runs. 


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for project/ project crew performance.
  1. Knowledgeable on scope, specifications, and project schedule. Able to identify work outside scope. Implements cost saving alternatives.
  1. Enforces APIC policies and procedures
  2. Accurate time card review and approval.
  3. Field safety enforcement and awareness. 
  4. Enforces APIC quality standards on all projects.
  5. Understand and maintains knowledge of job cost and cost performance.
  6. Coordination with general contractors and customer representatives.
  7. Responds promptly to customer needs


JOB STANDARDS

  1. Demonstrates continuous improvement in field process quality and cost performance. Maintains a high efficiency in the utilization of company resources.  Minimizes lost or non-productive time.
  2. Insures APIC quality standards are upheld.
  3. Implements field process improvement actions.
  4. Maintains a high level of field safety consciousness.
  5. Insures that projects meet schedule, cost and technical requirements.
  6. Reviews job costs with the project manager regularly and takes prompt action on problem items.
  7. Represents the company in a professional manner, maintaining good communication with other construction supervisors and owner representatives.  


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Experience in construction, blueprints, and specifications, as well as specialty work items performed by the company.
  2. License Required: EE98J
  3. Ability to direct projects. 
  4. Must be able to interact with customers, vendors and fellow employees with a professional demeanor and possess sufficient personal and supervisory skills to function successfully in APIC’s Team Environment.
  5. Other duties as assigned.
  6. Education Requirements-  High School Diploma or GED
