Disclosure Specialist

Description 

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Disclosure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all disclosure requirements, including but not limited to financial, legal, and regulatory disclosures. This role requires a deep understanding of disclosure regulations and the ability to interpret and apply these regulations to various situations. The Disclosure Specialist will work closely with various departments, including legal, finance, and compliance, to ensure that all disclosures are accurate, timely, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. This is a critical role that helps protect the organization from legal and financial risks by ensuring transparency and compliance in all disclosure-related activities. Responsibilities

  •  Manage and ensure compliance with all disclosure requirements.
  •  Prepare and review financial, legal, and regulatory disclosures.
  •  Collaborate with legal, finance, and compliance departments.
  •  Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all disclosures.
  •  Interpret and apply disclosure regulations to various situations.
  •  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of disclosure laws and regulations.
  •  Develop and implement disclosure policies and procedures.
  •  Conduct regular audits of disclosure processes.
  •  Provide training and guidance on disclosure requirements.
  •  Respond to inquiries regarding disclosure matters.
  •  Monitor changes in disclosure regulations and update policies accordingly.
  •  Prepare reports on disclosure activities and compliance status.
  •  Assist in the development of disclosure-related communications.
  •  Ensure proper documentation of all disclosure activities.
  •  Identify and mitigate risks related to disclosure compliance.
  •  Support internal and external audits related to disclosures.
  •  Coordinate with external regulatory bodies as needed.
  •  Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  •  Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for disclosure processes.
  •  Provide support for special projects related to disclosure compliance.
  • Assist Processing Team as needed.
  • Assist with Initial CDs as needed.

Requirements 

  •  Bachelor's degree in law, finance, or a related field.
  •  Minimum of 3 years of experience in a disclosure or compliance role.
  •  Strong understanding of disclosure regulations and requirements.
  •  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  •  Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  •  Strong organizational and time management skills.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  •  Experience with compliance management software is a plus.
  •  Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  •  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments.
  •  Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
  •  Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  •  Knowledge of financial and legal terminology.
  •  Experience in preparing and reviewing complex documents.
  •  Ability to conduct thorough research and analysis.
  •  Strong ethical standards and integrity.
  •  Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
