Nbn was founded in 2009 by the Commonwealth of Australia as a Government Business Enterprise (GBE), nbn was tasked with a clear mission: to design, build, and operate a wholesale broadband network for the nation. Today, we’ve achieved that vision, creating a network that spans the entire country, enabling internet retailers to offer affordable broadband services to both consumers and businesses.

A bit about your role
As a Customer Field Technician, located in Mildura, you will play a vital role working on Customer Service field tasks across potentially all nbn technologies. This is an autonomous role where you will be responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services. You’ll have the opportunity to work in multiple environments both internal and external but predominantly inside the customer’s premises. In this role you will be provided with a company vehicle, laptop, tools, uniform and phone (or device allowance).

We’re seeking both experienced candidates as well as those with transferable skill from a communication cabling or electrical background and who are keen to explore a new career in the telco sector. A large part of this role is working in customer’s premises, so it will also be important you have exceptional customer service skills and can display honesty and integrity while being self-managed and motivated. To be successful in this role you will need to have a current and clean driver’s license.
