Our sustained growth and success sees us searching for a top class Contracts Manager to lead a team of Logistics specialists in managing contracts with our logistics business partners!

The Role:

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of client contract/s, especially regarding KPI’s, rates, and delivery expectations
  • Effective communication with client representatives to ensure they feel they are a Business Partner with KTrans
  • Communication with the Operations, Warehouse, and HSEQ teams to ensure all client requirements are being met within the required timeframes
  • Effectively manage and ensure all freight, demurrage and other on costs are charged as per contract rate card
  • Assist Head of Logistics with monthly reporting, invoicing and contract feedback
  • Prioritise and multitask in a high-pressure environment
  • Ensure all TMS bookings submitted by client and/or raised internally are rated according to the contractual rates and closed once delivery is completed with priority to ensuring profitability on each booking
  • Effective management of logistics mailbox, ensuring all parties are communicated with in a high level of customer service within appropriate time frames
  • Ensuring key business drivers are effectively communicated to all employees
  • Ensuring the business unit is achieving production/operational plans and KPI's
  • Providing effective leadership to the crews by developing short term work and resource plans (people & equipment) and targets consistent with agreed KPI's
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies or improvements where possible
  • Engaging subcontractors, creating purchase orders, and issuing quotes to customers
