Darwin Precast Products, now under the ownership of Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation, boasts over 20 years of experience in the industry. Our expertise spans a wide spectrum of specialist services, from basic to intricate products. With a demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively with both large-scale clients and smaller local contractors, we have earned a reputation as a premier manufacturer of septic and wastewater treatment systems. Our offerings range from pump-out tanks to comprehensive sewer manholes, pump stations, and innovative solutions.

About the role

In this role, you will engage in hands-on tasks to carry out the manufacturing and fabrication of precast concrete components, including read and interpret written design drawings, follow design instructions and undertake pouring, moulding, casting, and curing processes independently. Operating within a team-oriented environment, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient production of high-quality concrete products meeting project specifications. Additionally, responsibilities include maintaining clean and safe workspaces, assisting in manufacturing and fabrication processes, and organising raw materials, tools, and finished products within the facility. You will be required to operate various machinery and equipment such as concrete mixers, moulds, vibrating tables, overhead gantry cranes, and forklifts.

We are looking for an applicant who has:

  • Previous experience in a similar production role.
  • The ability to work in varied weather conditions and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Possess strong physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labour and manoeuvre heavy objects.
  • Has knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) principles and practices.
  • Has the ability to obtain / or provide a National Police Clearance and Working with Children card.
