About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Community Care Scheduler. In this role, you will ensure the effective administration and rostering of community care services to provide seamless, high-quality support to our clients. You will be responsible for matching home care staff with clients, coordinating schedules, and maintaining compliance with contractual obligations.

The role will be fixed term for 18months in a part-time capacity (2-3 days per week).

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily rostering of home care services, ensuring shifts are filled promptly and effectively.

• Match care staff to clients based on personality, skills, and location to ensure the best client experience.

• Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and stakeholders regarding schedules and service adjustments.

• Use the Sand Wai IT system to manage rostering, leave requests, training, and other administrative tasks.

• Ensure that staffing meets contractual and industrial relation obligations, including contracted hours.

Selection Criteria:

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in rostering within the community or aged care sectors.

• Strong data input and analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate and present data effectively.

• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with payroll and HR software.

• Excellent prioritisation, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Other Requirements:

• A current Working with Vulnerable People Check.

• Vaccinations as per Aged Care requirements.

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and positive environment for all clients and staff.
