About the Role:
We are continually looking for enthusiastic and talented people to join our team.
Our Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) QLD office is currently seeking a Civil / Water / Environmental Engineer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.
Key responsibilities and activities include:
• Large Scale Flood Studies;
• Water Supply Dam Design;
• Planning and execution of facility closure (water related);
• Landfill and Transfer Station Design (water related);
• Life of Mine Road Design (water related);
• Options & feasibility studies;
• Project reporting including detailed technical reports, specifications, design drawings;
• Assisting with design and/or construction of projects;
• Construction supervision and quality assurance;
• Client liaison and project management
Knowledge and Experience requirements include:
• A Bachelor degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering;
• Experience in Goldsim, XpStorm, TUFLOW, GIS, CAD, 12d (valuable);
• Highly motivated, innovative and committed to technical excellence through project execution and the ability to integrate into multidisciplinary projects;
• Ability to integrate into projects built with a team of professionals;
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety;
• Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in the site strategic and master planning, design and construction;
We are happy to develop the technical skills of the successful candidate, however knowledge, experience and skills in the following areas will be highly regarded:
• Options & feasibility studies
• Landfill and Transfer Station Design
• Capping and Liner design (Geosynthetics knowledge)
• Mine Closure Design
• Road Design
• Erosion and Sediment Control Design
