Certified Flagger Underground Laborer
A Flagger Underground Laborer is a hybrid construction worker role who primarily directs traffic around underground construction sites while performing manual labor tasks. These tasks include digging, trenching, and assisting with the installation of underground utilities such as cables or pipes. This role often requires working in confined spaces and adhering to safety protocols for underground operations.
Flaggers Certification is required to obtain this position as well as 1 to 2 years’ experience performing the job duties

This is a full-time hourly position, expected to work at least 40 hours per week. The role operates in an outdoor environment and is regularly exposed to various weather conditions, including extreme cold, rain, sleet, snow, humidity, high temperatures, and high winds. The work environment will vary throughout the day, including changes in terrain, traffic, urban, and rural settings. There may be occasional exposure to natural gas and the risk of electrical shock, as well as moderate to loud noise levels.
Physical Requirements
The employee must be able to stand for long periods (up to 12 hours at a time), tolerate extreme weather conditions, and follow worksite safety instructions. The role requires prolonged and repeated activities such as lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, feeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds.

Compensation Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $18.00/Hr. - USD $26.00/Hr., depending on experience and qualifications.
Pay is based on the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the employee.
