Liebherr Mining is experiencing significant growth, in both its workforce and manufacturing capabilities, due to significant contracts with mining majors across WA. This includes investing in training and development programs, expanding its apprenticeship program, and hiring skilled trades across Mechanical and Electrical, to enhance its ability to deliver high-quality products and services to the mining industry.
About the Role
We are currently looking for skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our team based at an FMG site.
The Roster
- Competitive Salary: $265k*
- 2/1, 12-hour day/night FIFO from Perth
Duties
- Effective management and monitoring of on-site Liebherr equipment
- Recommend corrective remedies to sustain/improve equipment condition & performance
- Report significant or recurring maintenance events
- Assist with general maintenance/servicing, conduct machine diagnostic and condition evaluations and removal repair and installation of Liebherr equipment components and modules
- Provide mentoring and upskilling of fellow employees
Skills & Experience
- Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter or Mobile Plant
- Previous Liebherr T264 knowledge preferred but not essential
- Current driver’s licence (C class minimum)
- High Risk Licence LF, DG, EWP and WAH
