Full Job Description

As a Working Residential Foreman at Ozzy's Golden Construction Inc., you will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our custom home builds, complete home remodels, and large-scale additions. You will manage on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and craftsmen. You will be the driving force that ensures each project is a seamless and successful experience for both our clients and our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Project Leadership: Oversee the entire on-site construction process for residential projects, including custom homes, remodels, and additions, ensuring work is completed efficiently and meets the company's high standards.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise the work of subcontractors, craftsmen, and construction crews, providing guidance, instruction, and support as needed.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their vision is realized and keeping them informed of project progress, timelines, and any potential issues.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship is top-notch and adheres to both client specifications and building codes.
  • Budget & Timeline Management: Ensure that all aspects of the project stay on schedule and within budget, proactively addressing any delays or cost overruns.
  • Safety Oversight: Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are strictly followed on-site.
  • Problem-Solving: Address any on-site issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, coordinating with the project manager, architects, and engineers to find quick, effective solutions.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and any changes to project plans or timelines.

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in residential construction, with a focus on custom homes, remodels, or large-scale additions.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar leadership role within the residential construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, construction plans, and technical documents.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
