About the Role

Located at our Raymond Terrace Campus, the Training Coordinator is central to ensuring our programs meet the highest standards, supporting our trainers and students alike, and maintaining our commitment to accessible, impactful education.

In this full-time position, you’ll support a purpose-driven team that values professional development and community impact.

Successful applicants should be able to confidently:

• Manage schedules, resources, and budgets for training programs across various locations.

• Provide ongoing supervision, guidance, support, and feedback to trainers to ensure quality program delivery.

• Work closely with trainers, support officers, and other RTO team members to deliver programs that meet community and employment needs.

• Collect and evaluate feedback to enhance training programs, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.

• Oversee the development of training materials and allocate resources to support program success.

• Coordinate and consult on program adjustments through the term due to student numbers

• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new trainers.

• Help ensure the organisation meets all compliance obligations

• Manage short term education related projects.

About You

• You already live by the values of Inclusion, Integrity and Innovation.

• Hold a minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, as per ASQA standards or successors

• Results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Experience working with persons who have barriers to learning i.e. Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) challenges

• Have at least 2 years’ experience coordinating training and assessment within an RTO

• Vocationally competent and industry-current in at least one qualification within the Training Package areas delivered

• Possess a broad knowledge of Vocational Training Packages and related guides

Atwea College requires:

• Valid NSW Working With Children Check and current National Criminal Police Record Check prior to the commencement of employment.

• Child Protection Training and other ongoing legislative training as required, once employed.

• Drivers Licence.
