About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Architect with expertise in the architectural design, implementation, and integration of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITBM(SPM) modules. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ServiceNow scripting, integration strategies, and solution design to drive complex ServiceNow implementations and enhancements for clients.
This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and operations teams to design and implement scalable, high-performance ServiceNow solutions that meet enterprise-level business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design & Strategy:
- Lead the architectural design of ServiceNow solutions, focusing on ITSM, ITOM, ITBM(SPM) modules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective, scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Define and enforce best practices, standards, and guidelines for ServiceNow development and integration.
- Design and implement solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational goals.
Solution Implementation & Integration:
- Lead end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge), ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration), ITBM / SPM (Project Portfolio Management, Demand Management, Application Portfolio Management)
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and enterprise systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory, SNMP, cloud services, etc.).
- Manage data migration and ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to ServiceNow.
Scripting & Development:
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications through scripting (JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, etc.).
- Create custom ServiceNow solutions and workflows for various business needs, with a focus on integrations and automation.
- Leverage ServiceNow APIs, web services (REST, SOAP), and Orchestration capabilities to extend platform functionality.
Team Leadership & Mentoring:
- Lead and mentor a team of junior ServiceNow developers and administrators.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Promote and ensure adherence to industry best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
Support & Troubleshooting:
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and ongoing enhancements with minimal disruption to business operations.
Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with key business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide regular project updates, and present technical solutions.
- Conduct workshops and presentations to explain the technical architecture and benefits of the proposed solutions.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform design, development, and implementation, with a focus on ITSM, ITOM and ITBM(SPM) .
- Proven experience in ServiceNow architecture, with deep understanding of platform features and capabilities across multiple ServiceNow modules.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow scripting: JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations: REST, SOAP, Web Services, IntegrationHub, and third-party systems integrations (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory, SNMP, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of ServiceNow modules: ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog), ITOM (Discovery, Event Management), ITBM (Project Portfolio Management, Demand Management, Financial Management), and SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management).
- Experience in ServiceNow Flow Designer, Orchestration, and Automation.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Strong experience with Data Migration and managing ServiceNow Upgrades.
