The primary purpose of the Senior Project Planner/Scheduler role is to provide planning and scheduling, schedule analysis and reporting, Earned Value Management, claim and variation review and analysis, and contribution to Schedule Risk Analysis. The Project Planner/Scheduler mainly works on Rolling Stock programs and will be responsible to ensure all the schedules are adhered to TfNSW scheduling standards. Also, this role will drive the automation process for schedule reporting across Rolling Stock Delivery.
Supporting Director Project Controls, Schedulers and delivery teams, the scope of the Professional Services Contractor includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Review of the Suppliers schedule and provide feedback on the findings to the project team. Review, update, and advise on the interdependent project and the associated milestones.
Monthly updates to the project schedule Level 3, in conjunction with the suppliers/contractors schedules.
Review the suppliers/contractors schedule updates and report observations and findings
Critical Path Analysis and time delay of the contractor delivery program with Agreed Baseline Program.
o Review suppliers/contractors monthly report and provide comments and feedback.
o Provide inputs to the program review reports.
Reports on the EVM elements and update the relevant reports/dashboards accordingly.
Suggest corrective actions for negative floats , change in logic , resequencing of activities & the reasons for the delay
Review and verify program possession calendars are aligned with TfNSW revised global calendars, including possession calendars.
Work with the Project Management Office (PMO) Commercial Performance & Strategy (CPS) to ensure relevant P6 Codes are assigned to the activities/milestones.
Develop L2 schedule for Risk Analysis purpose, under direction of the Senior Manager -
· Project Controls Manager and Senior Manager planning
o Provide Assistance to Director Project Controls in reporting space
o Drive the automation process in schedule reporting space
Develop related reports in Power BI
