Career aspirations to work on interesting and challenging projects.
A mindset that seeks solutions to recurring problems affecting timely and cost-effective execution of engineering design and construction projects.
Understanding of finance in projects, Capex / Opex / FX trade-offs
Familiarity with procurement and logistics, modularisation, overseas fab-yards and schedule / quality trade-offs
Knowledge of project scheduling and planning issues affecting critical path, schedule risk analysis and sequencing of works etc.
Good understanding of current WHS Act and implications for engineering design and construction risk across engineering disciplines
Understanding of legislation and obligations in relation to MSA and Ethics in trading
Familiarity with Business Continuity Planning criteria and process
Bachelor of Engineering (Process/Civil/Mechanical).
Ability for independent research on technical subject matter, e.g. Aus/NZ engineering standards
Willingness to learn and update skills for challenging technical workshops, e.g. Hazid / Hazop / SiD
