Our Print Centre is currently seeking a casual News Production Operator. You will be responsible for carrying out manual work which will include:
Operation of machinery
Packaging newspapers in a timely manner and within allocated timeframes.
Ensure the safe operation of machinery at all times.
Inserting magazines into newspapers.
Shifts are 5 days a week with some night shifts
Previous experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment involving process working or pick/packing will be seen as advantageous.
Collaborative team player approach to your work.
Strong adherence to safety policies and standards.
Manual Handling capability is essential.
Ability to work effectively in a time-constrained environment.
Flexibility to work some night shifts.
Availability to cover additional shifts at short notice.
LF forklift licence will be seen as advantageous
