We're seeking a Labourer at our Round Wood Manufacturing & Treatment Plant facility in Takura, Hervey Bay.
About the role
- Undertake a range tasks to ensure the correct fabrication, packing, strapping, tagging of fabricated pine and hardwood products
- Monitory inventory and product quality, completing production & quality records
- Carry out daily plant adjustments and maintenance
- Undertake the role with a strong awareness of the health & safety of yourself and others
- Work efficiently and contribute to a healthy team environment
- Undertake training and other duties as required
What are we looking for
- Previous experience as a Labourer (experience in similar industry ideal)
- General machine and labouring experience or aptitude
- Loader and forklift experience preferred
- Knowledge of the operation of Fabrication & Bundling stations ideal
- Practical/plant maintenance skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and enjoy contributing to a productive team environment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Physically fit with a satisfactory pre-employment medical screening
