At Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA), we are seeking Field Service Technicians reporting into our Melbourne Branch and work on all types of material handling equipment. We are accepting Technicians/Mechanics from all relevant trades and will support you through the transition.

We currently have mutiple vacancies available for the following positions:

  • Field Service Technician (Fixed Site) East and West regions of Melbourne 
  • Skilled Workshop Technicians.

About the Role:

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to support our Melbourne branch.

In this role you will carry out breakdown / repairs / routine maintenance on all types of material handling equipment across Melbourne. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components.

Qualifications, Requirements & Skills:

  • Current Driver's licence.
  • Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
  • Forklift Licence & LPG Certificate would be an advantage but not essential. 

Can Demonstrate:

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Well-developed mechanical aptitude.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry. (desirable)
  • Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities and licensing requirements.
  • Commitment to maintaining safe work practice
