We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Surveyor to join our Queensland based FIFO team.  This is a full-time position, and the successful applicant will be offered a diverse role with the ability to work on a great variety of projects whilst continuing to develop their career.

Fyfe currently have several FIFO projects across Southern Queensland, ranging from major infrastructure to energy and resource projects in the renewables and oil and gas sectors. These projects offer disciplines including engineering, civil, cadastral and 3D reality capture surveys.  For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to liaise with clients and develop project management principals.

Ideally you have previous relevant Surveying experience and have worked with some great technology. Being able to communicate and more importantly enjoying a bit of banter is a plus.

About the Role:

  • Competitive pay + Fifo Allowance
  • 2 on 2 off FIFO roster, flying from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne to Roma/Chinchilla
  • Work with latest drones/technology

About You:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in using a variety of survey equipment including Trimble GNSS equipment, RTS and Trimble Business Centre (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a changing work environment
  • Proven communication skills, respectful of your peers and like to sound things out
  • Attention to detail is a given.
