Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Field Service Technicians to join our dynamic team in Darwin. As a Field Service Technician at TMHA, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' equipment is maintained to the highest standard, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance services including planned maintenance, repairs and modifications at the Customer’s site and in accordance with the Customer’s requirements and within the Company’s guidelines and procedures.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and automated systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance services to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
  • Respond to service calls efficiently, providing on-site technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with the wider service team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology and service procedures within the industry.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components.

 

Qualifications, Requirements & Skills:

  • Current Driver's licence.
  • Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
  • Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry.
  • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining material handling equipment or similar machinery.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
