About The Role


 
As the Ethical Sourcing Operations Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to lead a team of specialists in delivering the ethical sourcing strategy and program implementation for our non-food portfolio (Health and Home, and Goods Not for Resale) across our business.
 
Reporting to the Group Ethical Sourcing Manager, you’ll also:

 

  • Represent the Ethical Sourcing team on a weekly basis in front of key stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic recommendations in a timely fashion to the broader Ethical Sourcing team, Business Units and GNFR procurers on supplier non-conformance and methods for supporting suppliers to become compliant.
  • Use expert data management skills to provide accurate and concise updates on recommendations and next steps for all interactions.
  • Communicate, liaise, coach and support suppliers and business unit stakeholders on Program compliance issues and broader compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to wider Ethical Sourcing Program activities including board reporting, delivering on the Modern Slavery Statement, training, governance activities and other ethical sourcing related projects.
  • Identify coaching needs, develop and manage a team of specialists.

 

 

About You And Your Skills


 

  • Experience in an ethical sourcing, human rights, risk, compliance, legal, quality, or equivalent role, ideally in a fast-paced corporate setting.
  • Demonstrated people management experience and leadership skills with a strategic mindset
  • Skilled at preparing program policy, documentation
  • Background in human rights and ethical sourcing, including understanding of international standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in particular experience in senior management corporate reporting
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills
