At UGL, the Fuels & Energy business have a new opportunity for an Estimator (Labour Rates) to join our Bid team based in Brisbane supporting the National portfolio.
We have an extensive secured base, renewal contracts, enterprise agreement escalations and new and upcoming bids and tenders we are looking to speak with driven and passionate applicants who are looking for their next opportunity.
In this role, you will interpret and develop the labour rate estimates for new bids, renewals and enterprise agreement escalations. Ideally you will have experience utilsing Cats to support our tender submission process.
About You
You will draw on your diverse skills and previous experience to create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:
· 3-5 years experience in Estimating focusing on labour rates and calculations
· Understanding and interpretation of Enterprise Agreements
· Understanding of commercial, contractual, financial and legal components of tenders
· Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills
· Ability to work independently, to organise and prioritise demands whilst handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously
· Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking to support tender submissions
