The Concrete Foreman at Innovative Concrete, LLC plays an essential role in supporting the Project Manager to ensure timely and successful completion of construction projects. This position is vital in overseeing and mentoring crews, ensuring adherence to project specifications, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Team Leadership: Manage small to midsize crews, overseeing and mentoring employees, allocating daily responsibilities, and providing guidance to crew members.
  • Crew Management: Conduct daily crew meetings, manage crew attendance, maintain time-keeping records, and review daily time logs.
  • Training and Supervision: Supervise and train crew members, evaluating performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with the Project Manager and on-site personnel to meet project requirements, ensuring schedules and logistics are managed effectively.
  • Technical Oversight: Read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately, overseeing concrete installation, finishing, and curing processes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of poured yardage and project documents, managing material requests and ensuring a clean and organized job site.
  • Client Relations: Represent the company professionally, building client relationships, and ensuring high standards of workmanship.
  • Hands-On Work: Perform or assist with concrete preparation, finishing, and patching, operating and maintaining tools and equipment properly.

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Technical Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of concrete installation and finishing techniques, ability to read blueprints, use construction tools, and operate equipment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work, with physical ability to perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and proficiency with technology in construction settings. Experience with BlueBeam, ProCore, Trimble, and PlanSwift is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ACI Certification and OSHA Training.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical activities common in the concrete trade.

Other Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
  • Must pass background checks, drug screening, and maintain regular attendance.
