The William Inglis Hotel is seeking a talented Conference and Events Assistant Operations Manager to help lead the coordination and delivery of extraordinary events in a luxury setting and provide support to a high-performance team.

In this vital role, you’ll assist in overseeing the operations of conferences, meetings, weddings, gala dinners, and other special events. You’ll work closely with the Conference and Events Operations Manager to ensure the smooth execution of all event details, guaranteeing that every experience meets our high standards of excellence.

Qualifications

Thrive in the Heart of The William Inglis Hotel - MGallery with

  • Experience in event management or hospitality, with a background in supervisory or assistant manager roles.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Possesses a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
  • Available to start in January 2025
